Additional Expenses Required In Order To Have An Online Presence For Your Small Business
There are two additional annual expenses that are required before you can place a website online. They are:
- a domain name
- web hosting
Registering a domain name using Godaddy.com costs about $11 per year. I highly recommend using Godaddy for your domain name registration. I have used Godaddy since 2002 for my domain name registration.
I use a very inexpensive web hosting company for one of my websites. I will happily recommend this web hosting company should you need a web hosting recommendation. Your cost for one year of web hosting with this web hosting company will be only $15 per year, paid annually.
Need a banner? A banner is optional. The banner that you see at the top of this page was created by Artfire seller Mulberry-Street. The original banner was much larger, but I resized it on purpose to keep your attention on the content of this page and not on the banner. Your banner can be larger than the one that you see in the header of this web page. I request that you keep your avatar and/or banner a reasonable size, preferably 100 pixels in height. If you have a larger banner I will be happy to resize it for you at no additional cost.

What About Making Updates To My Web Page?
I want you to be able to make an informed buying decision by being honest and up front with you about my web page design service. In order to cut down on the amount of time that I will have to spend answering questions that I will receive about creating a one page website I have listed everything that I can think of that I do and don't include with this one page website.
Should you like to update your images or text my current hourly fee is a very reasonable $12 per hour, billed in fifteen minute intervals ($3 every 15 minutes). If you wanted to have me replace a paragraph of text on your web page you would be billed $3 whether it took me one minute or fifteen minutes to revise the web page text. The same with replacing an image. NOTE: The price that I charge to create a one page website and my hourly rate is subject to change without notice. My current hourly fee will remain posted on this web page.
