My Name is Jim Juris. I enjoy helping people by evaluating their web site. I also provide helpful advice on how to optimize a website for the search engines in my website evaluations. This is also known as search engine optimization or SEO.
During the past 5 years I have created two craft related websites for myself. My former website was a soap making site and my current website is a photography website that teaches artisans how to photograph their craft and jewelry creations.
Both my former website and my jewelry photography website rank/ ranked in the top 12 positions in the major search engines for most keywords. That is not easy to do, especially twice.
This web site is brand new so it may not be indexed by any or all of the search engines when you read this.
For those of you that want proof that what I say about my web site ranking high in the search engines, do a search on any search engine for any term related to jewelry photography. Normally you will find my Inexpensive Jewelry Photography website listed on either the first or second page of the search engine for that search term.
Of course you can't just do a search for the keyword "Photography" and expect my web site to come up near the top of the search engine rankings because "photography" is too general of a search term. There are many types of photography such as, wedding photography, food, sports, people, and pet photography, just to name a few.
My website critiques are designed to help in optimizing your web site for the search engines. This is also referred to as search engine optimization or SEO. I will use my search engine optimization knowledge and start at the very top of every page of your website and work my way down to the very bottom of each page.

Since I began evaluating web sites, I have found at least a few things that need improving on nearly every website that I have evaluated. I have rarely found a website that I would consider perfectly designed or close to being perfectly designed.
Basically, anything and everything that I see on your web pages will be critiqued, with the following exceptions:
I will be happy to check and see if your HTML code validates, but there will be an additional fee for each page that I check. I will then inform you of the results. I am not interested in correcting HTML coding errors or telling you how to correct your HTML code if any of your web pages do not validate.
I will also be willing to check any or all of the links on your web pages to make sure that you do not have any broken links. There will be an additional fee for this service.
I wish that I could guarantee that if you make all of the changes to your web site that I recommend to you in my website review that doing so will place your website at or near the top of the rankings in the major search engines. I am sure that you know that I can not make such a guarantee.
There are many variables to having a website listed at the top of the search engines. Besides a website that is optimized for the search engines you also need to have plenty of incoming links to your site. These links have to be relevant to the content of your website. For example, if you have a jewelry website, then the websites that are linking to your site should be related in some way to jewelry.
Why should you hire me to critique your website? Having the opinion of a person that is not related to you or a friend of yours is important because what you will likely hear your friends and relatives tell you when you ask them to take a look at your website and give you their opinion is-- your site looks good, or-- your website looks very nice. Your friends and relatives will probably not have any suggestions to offer you on how you can improve your website.
That is not what I will tell you when you hire me to critique your website. I will give you my honest, unbiased, professional opinion of your web site. When you hire me to evaluate your website my job will be to review your website and make recommendations to you on areas of your website that I feel need improving. For example, if the color of the text on your website is green and I do not believe that the green text looks good I will recommend to you that you replace the green colored text on your website with black text.
I will also inform you of everything that I like about your website in my website evaluation.
About six years ago, shortly after I created my first website, I paid a woman $25 per page to do a critique of my former website. Since creating websites was a new experience for me I wanted to know anything and everything that I could do to make my website better.
The woman that I hired to do a critique of my website provided me with valuable information and suggested ways for me to improve my website. Without her help I feel that the dollar amount and number of sales that my former website generated would have been significantly less.
Because I have critiqued 600 websites I believe that I am qualified to do a website critique for you, but at a much lower price.
I charge a very low fee of $11 per page, with a 3 page minimum, for my critiques. For critiques of less than 3 pages my fee is $15 per page. Payment for my services will be made by using PayPal.
Let me be perfectly honest and up front with you. If you can not accept constructive criticism about your website, please do not bother contacting me.

When you contact me please provide me with the name of the website that you would like me to critique. I will also need for you to provide me with a list of all the pages on your website that you would like me to critique. Of course, any page or pages on your website that you do not ask and pay me to critique will not be critiqued.
Once you pay me the fee for my critique I will get back to you with my critique as soon as possible. The amount of time required for me to critique your web site will normally be around 3 to 10 days. I do my critiques on a first come first served basis.
